Joel has once again partnered with Counting Ants Productions to write I Am Vengeance.

Joel has once again partnered with Counting Ants Productions to write I Am Vengeance, a film about Saskia, a deeply disturbed girl who wants to find out what happened to her parents who were killed in a suspicious car accident.

 

After ten years of being medicated in a psychiatric institution, Saskia is weaned off her medication and begins to recall her past in images. Sketching them out gradually leads her reconstruct an event in her past. The vision of a hand with a red skull ring reaching for her under a bed as a woman lies dead on the floor haunts her dreams.

 

Soon Saskia decides she must uncover the origin of her vision. After cunningly finding her way out of the institution she sets out to find the places she has sketched from her dreams. Outside she is joined by Tristan, a warm, inviting young street boy near her age. He helps her negotiate her way through the tough streets of the low income district as officer Veronica is called to track her down. Saskia gradually becomes more and more empowered as she faces the obstacles in her quest. Eventually leading her to discover the tragic truth about her family and how her lust for vengeance cost her what she longed for as a child. Check out the Facebook page here for updates
