Synopsis
A recently sober John Webster is determined to turn over a new leaf in his life. But when he writes a profile about an oil company named Nerno, Webster finds himself being dragged into a dangerous chess game played by the most powerful minds in the country who are using Nerno for their own personal gain. As Webster digs deeper into Nerno, he finds shocking evidence that involves the corruption at the highest levels and people who will stop at nothing at silencing him. This knowledge not only drives Webster to fall back into his old destructive habits but also threatens his life. When people start dying, Webster must race to untangle this large conspiracy and find evidence to send the Nerno executives to jail before it’s too late.
